Here are are the directions to Coventry Jaguar's Pitch at Joseph Cash School, Owenford Road, Coventry CV6 3FS.

It will be a 12.30 kick off, so meeting at 11.15 at the HGC, 11.45 at Coventry Jaguar. Pitch inspection will be Saturday evening.

It's up the A46, off at University of Warwick, past Canley Fire and police Station, then past The Coventry Sphinx Pitch and the at the Wing Wah Chinese turn left to Easter Green/Berkswell. After One Mile, turn left into Jardine Crescent, my guess park on the road - pitch is on the right.

Whitley Juniors Pitch Location at Binley

Once again it's up the A46 to Whitley Juniors. The pitch address is: Binley Recreation Ground, Grange Avenue 

Coventry CV3 2ED. The photo on the left shows a new building called The John White Community Centre which I am guessing maybe the entrance to the ground. There are three choices: Route 1 (St James Lane through Willenhall), Route 2 (straight up A46 with Uturn) and Route 3 (Sat Navs may choose this route via Allard Way). Note: Whitley now play in purple, so can all team members wear the sky blue kit (normal home kit). Meeting at the HGC for 9.45 for 10.15 at pitch for 11.00 kick off. 

Alveston v Coundon Court Sunday 9 January 2011

HGC to Coundon Court School If you drive straight past the Coventry Sphinx ground (that we have played at twice) and head out of Coventry on the A45, it's not long before a right turn on A4114. 

Coundon is a good area of town with the Secondary School tucked out of sight down a lane. Alveston last played Coundon on 12 Sept 2010 with a narrow 0-1 loss.

Alveston v Coventry Jaguar Sunday 19 December 20100

Here are are the directions to Coventry Jaguar's Pitch at Joseph Cash School, Owenford Road, Coventry CV6 3FS. It will be the first time Alveston see the inner Coventry Ring Road travelling anticlockwise and exiting at J9.

As we know, if the snow and ice clears, it will be a 12.00 kick off, so meeting at 10.45 at the HGC, 11.15 at Coventry Jaguar. Pitch inspection will be Saturday evening. It could be the ideal time to try out the new twitter @alveston2000 The league will release the Coventry Council Pitch updates  at @JBCMFL 

STOP PRESS it seems as I write this twitter has released news saying All matches on council parks and school pitches in Coventry, Bedworth & Nuneaton are called off this Sunday 19th December

Here are the DIRECTIONS for the next match against Chapelfields Colts (played 9, wins 4, losses 5). It's up the A46 again, off at University of Warwick, through the campus, turn left at The New Varsity Pub and ground is on the right.

Alveston v Brinklow Sunday 21 November 2010

Here are the directions to Wolston Leisure Centre for Brinklow v Alveston 11.00 kick off this Sunday. It's a 22 mille drive (32 mins) from the HGC. A46 again, A45 at the Coventry Airport roundabout. As you may remember, Brinklow came to the HGC on the 17 Oct where Alveston won 4-0. Brinklow have played seven league games with two wins (Coventry Copsewood and Whitley) and five losses.

Wolston's a small village, but it does have a Coop should you need any supplies. For those who are interested, there is a new PCWorld Mega Store at the airport reail park which has a working demo of the the new Xbox Kinect (the new game where it scans you and there's no need for any controllers (there are also a few 3D TVs to see as well as ipads etc).

Directions to Southam FC for Sunday 3 October 2010

Here are the directions (and sights) for Sunday. Meet at the Home Guard Club at 9.15 Sunday 3rd Oct 2010, then (30mins) to Southam FC for 9.45 - kick off at 10.30. Home Guard Club to Southam FC directions are here: CV47 2BJ (Banbury Rd/A423) It seems there are many ways to go, this route is 15.5 miles and 30 mins cutting across the fields.

If you do go this way, watch out for the horses (if they are still there), right turn at Harbury(photo2) then a roundabout where we turn right. Last roundabout right turn for M40/Banbury, where the ground is a gap in the hedge on the right.

What’s nearby for supplies? Not a lot – just a petrol station by the looks of it.

Coventry Sphinx Juniors v Alveston Juniors Directions for Sunday 19 Sep 2010

The next league match on Sunday 19th September 2010 will be the first away match of the season at Coventry Sphinx Juniors v Alveston Juniors at the Highway Cricket Club, Fletchamstead Highway, Coventry CV4 9BY. Here's how to get there, it should be 20.5 miles which Google say should be 30 minutes from the Alveston Home Guard Club.

So, it's North on the A46, exit onto the A45 (signed to Birmingham) over the first BP roundabout (photo 01 of the montage on the left), straight on at the crossroads (photo 02), over the next roundabout at Canley Fire and Police Stations (photo 03 - watch out for the two hedge footballers).

You are then looking  to exit onto a minor slip road that runs parallel with the A45 (see photos 04 and 05) where you have to cut across the junction. If you do that, then there will be a blue RSS shop on the left where the Highway Club will be found on the left (photo 06).  Full Google Directions. Note: most Sat Nav directions will take a route round the back of the A45 as some will not allow the cut across the minor road (photo04)

Food Tip: Domino Pizza is located within a 80 meter walk from the club on the same side of the road. McDonalds, Pizza Hut Express, KFC and Sainsbury are across the A45. Kick Off is 1.30pm. Coventry Sphinx have played two games so far winning 4-3 at Coventry Jaguar and 3-1 at Coventry Copsewood.

How to find Alveston Juniors

But many Sat Navs (using CV37 7AY) will plan a route through the centre of Stratford upon Avon as this post code does not find the ground with accuracy. As we all know, traffic can be busy in the town, so for the ten away clubs, it is use CV37 7AT or long/lat 52.201217,-1.672961 to find the ground, avoid the town centre and save time.

This route (from the A46) follows the A429 Barford bypass, past Charlcote Park (look out for the Reindeer) and into Tiddington. Journey time from the M40 Longbridge Island should be 12 minutes.
